With the Soundblade in standby mode (OFF), using the remote control press "Next", "Prev", "Vol+" in sequence. 

The LED indicator will then flash:

BLUE - major version

PURPLE - minor version

For example, 1 blue flash followed by 1 purple flashes is version 1.1

NOTES:

1. This is also the factory reset sequence and will remove any BT pairing data.
2. If you are seeing 17 purple flashes, you have the initial release firmware which is version 0.0
