Soundblade - How to update your firmwareUpdated 6 months ago

To ensure your Soundblade is running the latest firmware, you can update it using a USB Flash Drive:

  • To receive the correct firmware file, please first register your Soundblade, providing your serial number.
  • Then contact our support team with your current firmware version, and they will provide you with the correct firmware file for the update.
  • Note: We need both your serial number and your current firmware version to make sure we supply you with the correct firmware file.
  • Preparation: Format a blank USB flash drive to FAT32. If you are using a Type A flash drive, you will need an OTG cable (USB-C to USB-A) to connect it to the Soundblade, or you can use a USB-C flash drive directly.
  • Copy Firmware: Download the firmware file from our website and copy it to the USB flash drive. The firmware file must be the only file on the flash drive.

To Update via USB:

  1. Put your Soundblade into standby mode.
  2. Press the following buttons on your remote in sequence: Next -> Prev -> BT.
  3. The LED on your Soundblade will flash slow yellow twice, then fast red three times, indicating the unit is in upgrade mode.
  4. Plug in the USB flash drive. The LED will flash green.
  5. Wait until the LED turns solid red. This indicates the update is complete.
  6. Remove the USB flash drive and reset the Soundblade by turning it off and on again.

Important Note: If you plug in the USB flash drive before performing the three-button remote sequence, the update will not work. The LED will still flash yellow and red, but the update will not occur.

If you have any trouble during the update process, please contact our support team for assistance.
