How do I power on the Zone X?
Please press and hold the power button until you the LED turns blue, you will also hear the start up sound. This takes about 3 seconds.
How do I power off the Zone X?
Please press and hold the power button until you the Zone X says "Powering down". This takes about 3 seconds.
How do I pair my Zone X?
- Press and hold the Bluetooth button for about 3 seconds, until the light starts flashing blue/red. This is pairing mode.
- Search for devices on your phone
- Select ‘BlueAnt ZoneX’
What is the play time and charge time of the Zone X?
A full charge of the Zone X will take about 3 hours.
The play time for the Zone X is 35 hours* in Bluetooth mode with ANC disabled.
With ANC or Transparency enabled play time is 24 hours*.
A 15 minute rapid charge with give you 3 hours* play time.
These play times are measured at full volume.
*Play time may vary based on type of music and environmental factors.
How do I activate Active Noise Cancelling on the Zone X?
When you power on the Zone X active noise cancelling is enabled by default.
If you have turned off noise cancelling you can reactivate it by pressing the ANC button until the Zone X says "Noise Cancelling".
The LED is green when noise cancelling is active.
How do I activate Advanced Transparency Mode on the Zone X?
When in active noise cancelling mode and you want to activate advanced transparency mode please press the ANC button and the Zone X will say "Transparency".
Advanced transparency mode stops noise cancelling and amplifies the ambient sounds of the world around you.
How do I deactivate Active Noise Cancelling and Advanced Transparency Mode on the Zone X?
Press the ANC button and the Zone X will say "Transparency and Noise Cancelling off".
This will disable active noise cancelling and advanced transparency mode.
To re-enabled active noise cancelling press the ANC button again and the Zone X will say "Noise Cancelling".
How do I use Instant Awareness Mode on the Zone X?
Place you right hand over the right ear cup and the music will be instantly muted so you can hear outside noise or listen to an announcement.
Remove you hand to instantly un-mute the music.
How do I control music on the Zone X?
To play or pause music simply double tap the middle of the flat area of the right ear cup.
To skip forward a track simply slide your finger from the back to the front of the flat area.
To skip backward a track simply your finger from the front the back of the flat area.
To increase volume slide your finger from the bottom to the top of the flat area.
To decrease volume slide your finger from the top to the bottom of the flat area.
How do I control calls on the Zone X?
To answer an incoming call simply double tap the flat area of the right ear cup.
To end a call simply double tap the flat area on the right ear cup.
To reject an incoming call simply single tap and hold the middle of the flat area of the right ear cup.
If music was playing prior to the call it will resume after the call is finished.
How do I use Siri/Google on the Zone X?
To start Siri/Google simply single tap and hold the middle of the flat area of the right ear cup.
To cancel Siri/Google simply single tap and hold the middle of the flat area of the right ear cup.
If music was playing prior to invoking Siri/Google it will resume afterwards.
How do I reset my Zone X?
Please press and hold the Bluetooth button until the ZoneX says "Factory Reset Complete". This takes about 8 seconds.
Then power off the Zone X.
When you next power on the Zone X it will go into pairing mode.
Can I clean my earcups?
Yes please use a damp non-alcohol based wipe and gently wipe over, please allow to air dry.
Can I purchase ear cups separately?
No, the Zone X ear cups are not removeable.

Can I use my Zone X with my computer, laptop or tablet?
To use the Zone X via Bluetooth with your computer/laptop/tablet your device must support A2DP for music playback.
To use the microphone on the Zone X your computer/laptop/tablet must support HFP or HSP. To check what is supported on your computer please check with your computer/laptop/tablet manufacturer.
To connect to your Computer/Laptop/Tablet:
- Please disable Bluetooth on your phone.
- Then power on the Zone X by holding the Bluetooth button and keep holding the button for about 3 seconds until the light starts flashing blue/red rapidly, this is pairing mode.
- Then on the computer/laptop/tablet add a Bluetooth device and select the Zone X.
- Once the ZoneX is connected you can re-enable Bluetooth on your phone.
- To switch back to phone use please disable Bluetooth on your computer/laptop/tablet and select the ZoneX on your phone.
- Once the ZoneX is connected to your phone you can re-enable Bluetooth on your computer/laptop/tablet.
When using your Zone X via AUX cable only audio playback is supported, not the microphone.
Control of the music is done on your computer/laptop/tablet when using AUX.
Volume on the speaker only controls the speaker and not the source volume.
