Issue:

Some users may find that the Soundblade’s volume is still too loud, even when set to the lowest possible volume. 

Cause:

This issue was caused by a firmware bug in the Soundblade’s initial production release (version 0.0), where the volume control did not properly scale down to low levels. It was corrected in firmware version 1.1 with the introduction of a new volume scale.

Solutions:

Check your firmware version:

• Make sure your Soundblade is running firmware version 1.1 or later. See How to check your current firmware version.

Update the firmware:

• If you are on the initial firmware version (0.0), follow the steps in your user manual to update to the latest firmware version. Updating to version 1.1 or later will resolve the volume issue on the lowest setting.
